The “Sfântul Ilie” Church in Sfântu Ilie is a church founded in 1488 by Voivode Ștefan cel Mare in the village of Sfântu Ilie, part of the Șcheia commune (Suceava County). It is located approximately 1.5 km northwest of the city of Suceava. This foundation functioned as a monastery for monks until April 29, 1785, when it was dissolved by the Austrians, and the monastery church became a parish church.
